The Rains for Your Wanderlust!

To travel is to experience life in its full grandeur. Each one of us, I’m sure must be having one place in our minds that ranks highest on our bucket list. It could be to see the grand pyramids of Egypt or to maybe go for a pilgrimage to Mecca or to sunbathe in the sands of Bahamas or is it to dive deep in the oceans to see the coral reefs? Or do you fancy waking up to a splendid sunrise at a hill-station? We all have some place that further fuels are longing to simply pack our bags and make the move! I too have this dream to watch the sky painted in beautiful colours.

I wish to once, witness, the mesmerizing – Aurora Borealis. We all have this strong urge to travel but not all of us pursue it. What are some of the common reasons that stop us from chasing this dream? Financial constraints, time limitations, other priorities or maybe simply not having enough conviction. Well, for majority of the girls in India, there is one more reason – they’re girls! And nope, they can’t travel alone!

But hey, what if you get free two-way tickets to your dream destination?!

Would you pursue your dream? Let’s for once dream of a Utopian world! 😉

And that brings me to this weekend’s prompt – Something magical from the sky! How wonderful it would be if it rained flight tickets to your dream destination! Bliss?!

Free up and down tickets to make your dream come true – can there be anything like that! I’d be on cloud 9! Imagine the smiles on everyone’s face when they see not raindrops but white, rectangular flight tickets rain from the clouds and come and land in their hands – Blessing sent from above! 😉

You must be wondering how the dates for the trip will work – well, since it’s magical, the tickets will know by telepathy about the suitable dates for it’s recipient! 😉

I’m quite excited to think how lovely it would be to just look up at the sky when it gets all gloomy, wait for a few minutes and as it begins to rain, all the townsmen come outside of their homes and wait anxiously for their ticket to safely land on their palms. No chaotic bookings, no more waiting to collect funds, no more permissions to worry about, no more uncertainty about realizing this one dream of yours – only bags to be packed and the flight to be boarded – Too good to be true? A beautiful dream though! 🙂

Remember how she yearned to visit the Paradise Falls? How I wish all of us get to visit that one place of our dreams! Maybe soon! Till then I hope this blog post can bring a smile on your face and makes you daydream a bit! 🙂
