Diamond in the Making

Under the dingy dark cavern…

Something spurred me to write down the above lines and since then these lines have been my constant reminder about believing in the process of evolving into something better as days go by!

I’m based in the cultural capital of India – Kolkata and I have since childhood enjoyed the fine art of communication in the form of reading, writing essays, poetry and more. This blog was born when I felt the need to express myself and to share my experiences with everyone. I wish that we all find our ways to exercise our varied creative interests!

On weekdays, I devote my time to work as a digital marketing executive – trying to meet all the deadlines! The evenings are reserved for reading, listening to music and writing. I have been working in the field of digital marketing since the past 9 years and I take a keen interest in staying updated with the changing means of communication.

My blog is a reflection of my interests – poetry, spirituality, photography, lifestyle and marketing. Every blog post carries my personal experiences and it is an effort to immortalize life experiences through creative expression.

Deeply touched by the true stories of people who we meet almost every day but do not notice, in 2018, I collated the stories of hawkers in Kolkata – the e-book titled – ‘Hawkers of Kolkata’ it narrates stories of 26 hawkers and paints a vivid picture of the city that I call my home.

I also take up freelance projects for content writing, photography and social media marketing.
